Driven Wild Goose Control was recently featured in an article in the Savage Pacer discussing Canada geese in the cities and the various methods used when getting rid of geese. It is our first time being mentioned in a publication, so we are very excited about this great opportunity to educate people about using dogs for goose control. There is even a photo of Goose included in the article. She keeps pestering me to take her to the mall for headshots now….this opportunity may have gone to her head.
Assessing goose control options
The article discusses several goose control methods. One of the most controversial methods, extermination or hunting of the geese, is mentioned by a concerned citizen who believes he has seen fewer geese around this season and assumes they maybe meeting a grisly end. He hopes this isn’t the case for the sake of the geese. It has become obvious to Leah and me that many residents of the Twin Cities (including several of our clients) feel the same way about extermination, which is one of our main motivations to offer humane goose management services.
Humane goose removal is best
After explaining the pros and cons of a variety of methods, the information presented leads the reader to what we here at Driven Wild consider a natural conclusion- that a dog-driven goose management plan is always best.
Check it out!
